Ph.D בכלכלה ומימון, New YorkUniversity , MA  בכלכלה, האוניברסיטה העברית. יו"ר ועדת ההשקעות, יו"ר ועדת הביקורת וחבר הדירקטוריון של הראל-פיא, ניהול קרנות נאמנות בע"מ. בעבר מילא תפקידים דומים בחברות לאומי-פיא (בנק לאומי) ולהק (בנק הפועלים).

לשעבר דקן ביה"ס למנהל עסקים וחבר הסגל האקדמי באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. שימש גם כראש המרכז להכשרת מנהלים באוניברסיטה העברית במשך שנים רבות. בעבר היה מרצה אורח באוניברסיטאות שונות בחו"ל, בינהן: HarvardUniversity, University of Florida, McGill University and People'sUniversity of China.
